Videos of Asher

posted by Kurtis at
Here's something new: videos!

Asher is following nicely in his father's video game footsteps:
Asher playing Wii

And, Asher enjoyed his Christmas carols:
Angels from the Realms of Glory
Angels We Have Heard On High

If you have trouble playing these, try installing Quicktime.

grr. i've tried to play these both on itunes and quicktime and each time it will start to play, but then the video will freeze and only the sound will continue. anyway to fix that? (both players are up to date).

Ev, I don't know -- but I'll try to ask Kurtis in case he doesn't see this. It just worked for me using itunes on a mac -- but that probably doesn't help.

It works on all the computers I tried it on here at the house.

One thing: Quicktime usually starts to play before something is all the way downloaded. If it isn't, I've seen it continue to play audio but not video until it runs out of the audio in that section, because of the way the file is multiplexed. Try sitting for a little bit and see if that's the problem.

hmm, nope. i've been nice and patient but it still isn't working. if it is open in only quicktime it will play for a couple of seconds, then just the audio will continue, and then the video will catch up for a couple of seconds, then just the audio, etc. if it's open in itunes the audio will be continuous but the video will just be still frames that change every second or so. shucks.

Thanks for posting these. Sarah and I had been looking forward to having a downloadable Asher.

My favorite is the end of "Angels We Have Heard on High" where after singing all those lyrics correctly he seems to have trouble remembering the final "O".
