Micah James McCathern
Micah was born at 7:53 EDT by c-section as scheduled. He weighed 8 lb. 1 oz., and he didn't pink up right away so they have him in the nursery still on oxygen, though they don't expect any continuing problems. Because of this his Apgar was lower than Asher's was at birth, so I'm sure that Asher will lord it over him until they take some other standardized test.
I would be posting pictures right now, but my techie sense was failing me, and while I brought the camera and the laptop to post pictures immediately, I forgot both card reader and cable. So you'll just have to wait.
Mom is doing well. Prayers are appreciated, especially of thanks.

oh my goodness i am swelling with love and pride!! first off - he looks like both of you. easy. 2nd - he looks older than he should! 3rd - he breathes very quickly. i love you guys. i'm having to hold myself back every 20 minutes or so from calling and bugging you with all sorts of love and questions. and this aunt would like more pictures of micah and of mommy and daddy (that's micah's mommy and daddy, not mine).
Congratulations on another precious boy!!! He is so cute!! I know you all are so proud and excited to have him here!! How is Asher reacting??? I cannot wait to start reading about Asher and his stories with Micah !! Sharon, please tell your parents "hello".
